Busola Oluwole receives Diversity Academic Development Scholar Award

Congratulations to Dr. Busola Oluwole, fellow (Hematology), the 2022 recipient of the Diversity Academic Development Scholar Award.
Established in 2020, the Department of Medicine Diversity Academic Development Scholar Awards (DADSA) were developed to promote and foster the transition of meritorious trainees to the roles of junior faculty and principal investigator.
Dr. Oluwole received her medical degree, master's degree in clinical research, and completed residency at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research is focused on sickle cell disease and she was the inaugural recipient of the 2021 National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) Jeanne Marie Lusher Diversity Fellowship Award.
