Nina Tan receives Beeson Award

Congratulations to Dr. Nina Tan, assistant professor of clinical practice (General Internal Medicine), this year’s recipient of the Paul B. Beeson Award.

The award commemorates Dr. Paul Beeson, a distinguished physician at the Seattle VA in the 1970s, who was celebrated for his teaching skills.

She was chosen by the medicine residents in recognition of outstanding clinical teaching and for exemplifying scholarship, humility, compassion, and integrity.

Tan directs the Women's Health Pathway for our Internal Medicine Residency Program, which aims to prepare physician leaders for practice in both urban and rural settings, equipping them with broad skills to deliver comprehensive care to women throughout all stages of life.
