New Outpatient Digestive Health & Endoscopy Center opens

The new Outpatient Medical Center Digestive Health Clinic & Endoscopy Center is now open at UW Medical Center – Northwest.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on January 12, 2026 for the new Outpatient Medical Center (OPMC) Digestive Health & Endoscopy Center at UWMC - Northwest. 

The OPMC model combines gastroenterology clinics with low-acuity, high-volume endoscopy.

OPMC clinical space with patient care baysThis state-of-the-art, 13,570-square-foot facility features calming nature murals, 4 procedure rooms, 12 admit/recovery bays, and 8 exam rooms to support our Digestive Health Clinic.

With this expansion, the Gastroenterology service can offer more accessible, efficient screenings and a wider range of care for patients in our community dealing with digestive health concerns.

Inaugural faculty include Dr. Blaire Burman, Hanna Cenci, Dr. Margaret Eugenio, Dr. Julianna Gardner, Dr. Seyed Jalali, Beth McKinney, Dr. Nina Saxena, and Dr. Phil Vutien.
