Justin Bullock new associate director for education scholarship

Dr. Justin Bullock, clinician researcher (Nephrology) and co-director of the Docs with Disabilities Initiative, is the new associate director for education scholarship for the UW Center for Leadership and Innovation in Medical Education (CLIME). In this role, he will consult on medical education scholarship for School of Medicine faculty, provide feedback and coaching at works-in-progress meetings, and collaborate with the CLIME team to develop supportive programming.

Bullock is a teacher, researcher, and lifelong learner who is passionate about creating safe environments in medicine where everyone is able to bring their authentic selves to work in the spirit of healing. His primary research focus on how educators can foster identity safety in the learning environment, where patients and providers can be their authentic selves in the workplace. He is currently completing a PhD in Health Professions Education at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
