Anders Chen receives Health Policy Advocacy Award

Congratulations to Dr. Anders Chen, associate professor (General Internal Medicine) who is the 2025 recipient of the David R. Calkins Award in Health Policy Advocacy from the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM). 

This award recognizes those who have devoted many years of continued commitment to health policy advocacy, and honors the exceptional dedication demonstrated by members who choose to advocate on behalf of SGIM. 

It is named in memory of the late David R. Calkins, MD, in recognition of his unwavering commitment to health policy advocacy for SGIM, beginning with its founding as SREPCIM in 1978.
