Violet Zuvela Primary Care IM Scholarship 2021 Awardees

This award was established in 2017, due to the generosity of the late Violet Zuvela, who graduated in 1972 from the University of Washington and worked at UWMC as a budget analyst, retiring in 1992. She was a patient of Dr. Doug Paauw.

“These three students are deeply committed to being their patient’s doctor, to sustained, longitudinal relationships with their patients and helping address the great need our country has for outstanding primary care physicians,” said Dr. Doug Paauw, director, Medical Student Programs.
