Jenny Wright appointed associate dean for curriculum
Dr. Jenny Wright, associate professor of clinical practice (General Internal Medicine) has been appointed the new associate dean for curriculum for the UW School of Medicine, effective July 1.
Wright has a strong track record of leadership in medical education, having served as both associate clerkship director and clerkship director for the internal medicine clerkship.
In these roles, she has made significant contributions to the training of medical students throughout the Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho (WWAMI) region.
She has also played a key role in advancing the UW School of Medicine curriculum, most recently helping lead the transition to competency-based medical education in the clinical phase.
Alongside her educational leadership, Wright provides patient care at the UW Medicine General Internal Medicine Center and remains actively involved in teaching both medical students and residents.
A proud University of Washington alumna, she completed both her medical degree and internal medicine residency at UW.
She is eager to serve in this role and continue supporting the School of Medicine and the education of learners across the WWAMI region.
