Dr. Matthew Triplette, assistant professor (Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine) has received a two-year $250,000 LUNGevity Health Equity for Communities Award for his project “Tailoring Screening and Smoking Cessation for the LGBTQ community.”

This award was created to support young investigators interested in community-based participatory research whose projects address disparities and promote health equity in lung cancer.

Dr. Matthew Triplette, MD, MPH, is an assistant professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, and Medical Director of the Lung Cancer Early Detection and Prevention Clinic at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
