
Liz Schackmann new associate program director for Boise IM Residency

Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Schackmann, assistant professor (General Internal Medicine) has been selected as the new associate program director for the UW Boise Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Schackmann completed her residency at UW Seattle and her chief residency at UW Boise. She is currently the medical director of hospital medicine at the Boise VA.
A passionate educator, Schackmann is a member of the core faculty for the UW CLIME Clinical Teaching Certificate program and a panelist for the University of Idaho Project ECHO Series: Infectious Diseases in the News. She is also currently the President of the Northwest Region Chapter of the Society of General Internal Medicine.
"The Boise residency is ecstatic to have Liz joining the leadership team," said Dr. Moe Hagman, program director for the Boise Internal Medicine Residency Program.
