Coralynn Sack receives Research Mentor Award
The Internal Medicine Residency Program selected Dr. Coralynn Sack, assistant professor (General Internal Medicine) as the 2022 recipient of the Research Mentor Award. This award recognizes the dedication and expertise of our mentors. Residency program leaders select the recipient from among resident-nominated candidates.
The IM Residency Program recognizes and values excellent mentorship, which is central to the success of resident scholarship. These model mentors help residents identify and achieve personal goals by investing effort that fosters productivity and career advancement.
Dr. Sack is an assistant professor of medicine (General Internal Medicine) and environmental & occupational health sciences. She received her MD from the University of Buffalo and MPH in epidemiology from the UW. Her research activities integrate translational experimental design and epidemiologic studies to characterize environmental exposures, explore disease mechanisms and investigate health outcomes.
Current research interests include the health effects of air pollution, occupational exposures in cannabis workers and the environmental causes of interstitial lung disease.
