Dr. Scott Ramsey, professor (General Internal Medicine) has been elected to the Washington State Academy of Sciences (WSAS) for his leadership in health economics and cancer research – including work on financial toxicity, cost-effectiveness, and healthcare policy – that has influenced national discussions, improved cancer care access, and shaped policies for equitable and sustainable healthcare.
He will be inducted at the Washington State Academy of Sciences 20th Anniversary Celebration in October.
