Brian Palen appointed to AASM Sleep Medicine Fellowship Directors Council Steering Committee

Dr. Brian Palen, professor (Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine) has been appointed to the steering committee of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) Sleep Medicine Fellowship Directors Council.

The Sleep Medicine Fellowship Directors Council Steering Committee is a leadership group dedicated to advancing education, training standards, and curriculum development for ACGME-accredited sleep medicine fellowships. They also develop resources to support sleep medicine fellowship programs and program directors.

Palen established the Seattle VA Sleep Disorders Program and serves as associate program director of the UW Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program.
