This award recognizes the dedication and expertise of our mentors. Residency program leaders select the recipient from among resident-nominated candidates.

These model mentors help residents identify and achieve personal goals by investing effort that fosters productivity and career advancement.
“She actively connected me with the Breast Health Equity research group…and encouraged me to take autonomy over my project, while supporting me with educational tools (e.g., organizing qualitative research training), curriculum time (e.g., encouraging me to apply for research electives), and career development opportunities (e.g., emailing national meetings’ call for submission and funding opportunities).
I know that I am not alone in feeling that Addie empowered my scholarly passions/pursuits, as she has been an invaluable mentor for each member of the Women's Health Pathway. Moreover, she is a trusted career advisor and clinical coach, who models the role scholarship can play in a career in academic primary care.”
