Dr. David Koelle, professor (Allergy and Infectious Diseases) is UW subaward PI for an NIH R01 award to the University of Sydney entitled “Mechanism of Action of MPL-QS21 Adjuvant Combination.”
The project will study how an effective herpes zoster vaccine works via human subjects research in Australia and Seattle, and animal research by Dr. Michael Gerner (UW Dept. of Immunology).
