Jared Klein receives Housestaff Fellowship Mentor Award

Dr. Jared Klein, associate professor (General Internal Medicine) is this year's UW Internal Medicine Residency Program Housestaff Fellowship Mentor Award. 

The award is presented annually to a faculty member who provided outstanding support, advice, mentorship, and / or coaching of resident(s) during the fellowship process.

A nomination for Dr. Klein reads:

"I have been fortunate to have him as a trusted mentor throughout my fellowship and professional development journey. Without any formal request from me, once he learned of my interest in addiction medicine, he proactively reached out and regularly checked in throughout the fellowship application process.
