Dr. Daniel Seung Kim, assistant professor (Cardiology) has received an American Diabetes Association Pathway to Stop Diabetes Initiator Award for his project “Integration of a trained language model to improve glycemic control through increased physical activity: a fully digital My Heart Counts smartphone app randomized trial.”
The Initiator award is designed to support early career researchers who have distinguished themselves during their research training as exceptionally talented and promising research investigators with a high likelihood of establishing successful, independent research programs and making seminal contributions in diabetes research.
