Andrew Hsieh receives Endowed Chair in Prostate and Bladder Cancer Research

Dr. Andrew Hsieh, professor (Hematology and Oncology) has been named the inaugural holder of the Larry and Virginia Gordon Endowed Chair in Prostate and Bladder Cancer Research.

Created by the generous support of Larry and Virginia Gordon, the endowed chair recognizes Hsieh’s leadership in advancing discoveries on genitourinary cancers and provides flexible funding to pursue innovative ideas that could lead to better treatments for patients.

Hsieh plans to use his endowed chair funds for high-risk, high-reward research.
