Mack Holmberg new associate program director for equity, diversity and inclusion
He is an outpatient attending at the Roosevelt GIM Clinic and has been a fierce advocate for residents and has helped foster inclusion and belonging to our community.

Dr. Mack Holmberg, clinical instructor (General Internal Medicine) will be associate program director for equity, diversity and inclusion for the UW Seattle Internal Medicine Residency Program, effective July 1, 2025.
Holmberg completed medical school and his residency and internal medicine at the University of Washington. He is a former inpatient chief resident at Harborview, and is currently an outpatient attending at Roosevelt GIM Clinic. In those roles he has been a fierce advocate for residents and is passionate about helping foster inclusion and belonging to our community.
He is a dedicated educator, receiving the Evans Award and the Resident Excellence in Teaching Award in 2022.
