Healthcare Hero Awards

Drs. Mark Mayo, clinical assistant professor, and Laura Quinnan-Hostein, clinical associate professor (General Internal Medicine) have received What's Right in Health Care® Hero Awards, sponsored by Huron.

These awards honor those who have significantly impacted results related to enhancing the patient experience, employee/physician engagement, improvement of their organization with innovative ideas or outstanding service to improve the health within their community.

Mayo is associate medical director for care coordination and patient progression at UWMC-Montlake and Quinnan-Hostein is chief of medicine and associate medical director at UWMC-Northwest.
