Dr. Scott Hagan, assistant professor (General Internal Medicine) received the 2024 Steven R. McGee, MD Teaching Excellence Award.
This award honors Dr. McGee’s legacy as a master clinician and educator and is awarded to a VA Internal Medicine faculty member for exceptional patient care; teaching of students, residents, fellows and colleagues; pursuit of knowledge; and the art of physical examination and bedside diagnosis.
Dr. Hagan is a primary care physician and medical director of the Seattle VA Primary Care Clinic. His research interests include patient-centered obesity care, evidence-based medicine, and primary care quality improvement.
