Congratulations to Dr. David Gruenewald, associate professor (Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine), this year’s recipient of the Seattle VA Medical Center Steven R. McGee, MD Teaching Excellence Award. He was selected for his outstanding clinical and teaching skills in palliative medicine and his record of scholarship.
This award was created in recognition of Dr. McGee’s unique contributions as a master clinician educator and role model dedicated to exceptional patient care and teaching of students, residents, fellows and colleagues; pursuit of knowledge; and the art of physical examination and bedside diagnosis.
