Ajay Gopal receives Oliver Press Award for Extraordinary Mentorship

Dr. Ajay Gopal, professor (Hematology and Oncology) is the 2026 recipient of the Oliver Press Award for Extraordinary Mentorship.

Established in honor of Dr. Oliver W. Press (1952-2017), beloved and respected colleague, dedicated physician-scientist, passionate patient advocate, and long-time research leader at the University of Washington and Fred Hutch Cancer Center, this award honors exceptional mentors who catalyze mentorship day to day, as Dr. Press did, with enthusiasm.
