She has been an active outpatient clinician throughout her tenure in GIM lauded for her management of medically complex individuals. In 2021, she became the current director of the Roosevelt Women’s Health Care Center (WHCC).  In addition, she attends on the internal medicine inpatient service four weeks a year.

Simon is an outstanding clinician and teacher. She has been described as “both a master of clinical medicine and the teaching of medicine.” She has proven herself to be a superb leader in a clinic with diverse staff and providers‐ internal medicine faculty, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, OBGYN faculty, social workers, nutritionist, and trainees from family medicine, internal medicine, and OBGYN.

Active in DEI, Simon frequently has consultations and referrals for the care of individuals with developmental conditions – an area of focus that she has a passion for.
