Incoming faculty initiates mask donation from Red Cross Society of China
Dr. Yihan Yang join the University of Washington as a clinical instructor in the Division of General Internal Medicine in July 2020.

The Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) has donated 20,000 N95 masks and 50,000 surgical masks to UW Medicine.
Dr. Yihan Yang connected the University of Washington Department of Medicine with Dr. Chen Zhu, President of the RCSC, who approved and organized the donation, in partnership with Evergrande.
“At this critical time, please be assured that our thoughts are with the faculty and students of University of Washington,” said Dr. Chen.
Dr. Yang completed her residency and chief residency and is currently a General Internal Medicine Medical Education fellow at Yale University.
She will join the University of Washington as a clinical instructor in the Division of General Internal Medicine in July 2020.
