Infrastructure grant to improve precision medicine for Veterans
Researchers have received a 5-year, $5 million research grant from the Department of Veterans Affairs focused on improving access to precision medicine for veterans with prostate cancer and hematologic malignancies.

Drs. Solomon Graf, associate professor, and Bruce Montgomery, professor (Hematology and Oncology) have received a 5-year, $5 million research grant from the Department of Veterans Affairs focused on improving access to precision medicine for veterans with prostate cancer and hematologic malignancies.
Their grant will support efforts at VA Puget Sound and VA Portland to improve uptake of germline and somatic sequencing, development of decentralized clinical trials and increase tele-oncology for veterans with genitourinary and hematologic malignancy across the Northwest and VA.
