
Jacob Doll new Medical Director for Learning

Dr. Jacob Doll, associate professor (Cardiology) is the new UW Medicine Medical Director for Learning.
In this new role, Doll will coordinate education and professional development activities for medical staff across UW Medicine, working closely with the Organization Development and Training team and faculty to identify new educational needs and generate a body of educational resources that help build skills in support of the UW Medicine mission.
Doll earned his M.D. from Columbia University. He is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
His clinical interests include cardiac catheterization, complex coronary artery disease and clinical trials, and his research interests include patient-centered care, angina treatment, myocardial infarction, and physician performance evaluation and improvement.
He is Deputy Section Head at VA Puget Sound Health Care System and a core investigator at the VA Center of Innovation for Patient-Centered and Value-Driven Care.
