Nora Disis receives Champion Award

Dr. Nora Disis, professor (Hematology and Oncology) and Director of the Cancer Vaccine Institute, has been selected by the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) as a 2025 Champion.

This special recognition, part of SITC’s 40th anniversary celebration, honors 40 individuals whose work has significantly advanced the society’s mission—including education, scientific exchange, global access, advocacy, and leadership development.

Dr. Disis’ pioneering contributions to cancer vaccines and immunotherapy and her unwavering commitment to collaboration and innovation have made a lasting impact on the field and on SITC’s growth.
