Dr. Neha Deshpande, associate professor of of clinical practice (General Internal Medicine) has accepted the role of director of Medicine Student Programs and clerkship director for the 3rd-year medical student clerkship in medicine, effective Nov. 1.
She is replacing Dr. Jenny Wright, who is now associate dean for curriculum for the School of Medicine. Deshpande has been the UWMC site director for the Medicine Clerkship since 2022.
