Dr. Alexander Vengerovsky, assistant professor of clinical practice (Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine) is the 2025 recipient of the David J. Pierson, MD Award for Excellence in Education and Mentoring.
The third-year class of Pulmonary and Critical Care fellows bestows the award each year having the full perspective of their training, from their clinical year through their research years. The class selects the individual who contributed the most to their education and mentoring during their ACGME fellowship training.
