Jacob Berman appointed Associate Medical Director for Population Health Integration

As UW Medicine continues to grow its population health work, Dr. Jacob Berman, clinical assistant professor (General Internal Medicine) will be taking on the new role of Associate Medical Director for Population Health Integration for UW Medicine.

In this role, Dr. Berman will help lead UW Medicine’s work on expanding and strengthening population health efforts beyond the core UW Medicine primary care network, with initial focus on collaboration across specialty clinics, hospital services, and clinical departments.

 
 
 

Jacob Berman, MD, MPH, is the Medical Director, General Internal Medicine Center, UWMC Roosevelt, and Assistant Medical Director, Ambulatory Clinical Quality Improvement, UWMC–Montlake.

Dr. Berman earned his M.D. and M.P.H from Tufts University. He is a member of the Society of General Internal Medicine, serving on their health policy committee, and a member of the American College of Physicians.

His clinical and research interests include population health management, high-value care, quality improvement, health systems innovation and scholarly review and analysis of health policy.
