Congratulations to Dr. Tara Reid, assistant professor (Allergy and Infectious Diseases) who has received the Burroughs Wellcome Fund Career Award for Medical Scientists.

The Career Awards for Medical Scientists (CAMS) is a prestigious and competitive program that offers $700,000 in funding over five years to support physician-scientists dedicated to academic careers. The award is designed to help bridge the transition from advanced postdoctoral or fellowship training to the early stages of faculty service.

Dr. Reid's research focuses on define the role of Treponema pallidum-specific humoral responses during infection.
