Jill Steiner elected to Adult Congenital Heart Association Medical Advisory Board
Congratulations to Dr. Jill Steiner, assistant professor (Cardiology) who was recently elected to the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) Medical Advisory Board (MAB). ACHA MAB members play a crucial role in offering expert opinions on research and medical developments in ACHD and the needs of the nearly 2 million adults with CHD in the United States to assure that organizational policies meet the highest standards of scientific need and accuracy.
Dr. Steiner specializes in treating adult patients who were born with heart conditions, or adult congenital heart disease (ACHD).
Her clinical interests include long-term medical care, echocardiography, medical and surgical decision-making, pregnancy, and quality of life for patients with ACHD, and research interests include palliative care and advance care planning as well as resilience and well-being for patients with ACHD.
